Words Of Jesus In Acts

Chapter 1

 

"Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. 5  For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit." "It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. 8  But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth

 

Chapter 9

 

"Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?" "I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting," 6  "Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do." "Ananias!" "Go to the house of Judas on Straight Street and ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul, for he is praying. 12  In a vision he has seen a man named Ananias come and place his hands on him to restore his sight." "Go! This man is my chosen instrument to carry my name before the Gentiles and their kings and before the people of Israel. 16  I will show him how much he must suffer for my name."

 

Chapter 11

 

'John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.

 

Chapter 22

 

'Saul! Saul! Why do you persecute me? "I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom you are persecuting,' "'Get up,' 'and go into Damascus. There you will be told all that you have been assigned to do.''Quick!' 'Leave Jerusalem immediately, because they will not accept your testimony about me.' 'Go; I will send you far away to the Gentiles.

 

Chapter 23

 

"Take courage! As you have testified about me in Jerusalem, so you must also testify in Rome."

 

Chapter 26

 

'Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.'

"'I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,' 16  'Now get up and stand on your feet. I have appeared to you to appoint you as a servant and as a witness of what you have seen of me and what I will show you. 17  I will rescue you from your own people and from the Gentiles. I am sending you to them 18  to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.'
